From the reviews
Great staff, incredibly helpful and welcoming. Great recommendations when it comes to their options, which I'm INCREDIBLY grateful for (if in case you don't want to outright sell an item). They also have quite an interesting collection of items at very reasonable prices to be honest (especially some of the firearms).
i love collecting vintage items and seth helped me find some rings that were perfect! looking forward to visiting again.
Very fast and efficient service. Great deals and quality used merchandise can be found at their store. The staff is friendly and ready to go the extra mile. One of my favorite places to shop. I also shop at their downtown location and their Bedford one as well.
Been going here for years, I constantly buy all kinds of items here from Guitar's to tools you name it... Great deals Everytime I go in I find something I want... I may not need it but I can't pass up there prices... Love you guys....
Selling or trading gear at Ace Pawn & Gold
Ace Pawn & Gold comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
