I would give this place 6/5 stars if I could. Over the years, Richie has helped me out more times than I can count. He’s honest, hard working, determined to get things right, but most importantly he is extremely knowledgeable about his craft and the banjos he works on.
I can’t recommend these guys enough. Their attention to detail, quality of work, pricing, professionalism, honesty, and variety of services is second to none. I first heard about them several years ago, since almost all of the best banjo players in the business seemed to bring their priceless instruments here.
Acoustic Box is the place to get your Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Bass, Dobro worked on, set up or fixed up. If Richie can't fix it, no one can. The man is a genius when it come to fixing stuff. I've been going to the shop near weekly for over three years so I have seen all the amazing projects that Richie has done.
Highly recommend this company. They answered a phone call on a Saturday, who does that anymore? Followed up by keeping an appointment, I know, once again refreshing. Ended with some of the finest service available. Ritchie and Will were a joy to work with and the professionalism extended was top tier.
