What's on the wall
“Vinyl-wise, the selection leans about 50/50 between new and pre-owned, with used records in a variety of conditions.”

Really good 👍 Has a record player to test vinyl and vinyl is in very good condition
Great local record shop with an awesome collection and great prices. I stop in at least once a month to browse and kill some time and always find something cool in their inventory.
Awesome selection! We have been wanting to stop by here since it opened, but just haven't had a chance yet. So glad we stopped in as it was great. We left with a whole arm full on our first stop and there is plenty more that we left behind that we will most likely go back for.
Almost Ready Records – Montclair, NJ Small but mighty. Almost Ready Records is a compact, well-curated music shop with a solid mix of vinyl and CDs that makes it worth a dig. The CD section surprised me—in the best way—with some interesting and unexpected finds.
Selling or trading gear at Almost Ready Records
Almost Ready Records comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
