From the reviews
Awesome local friendly mountain music! Unlike so many other businesses in the mountains that charge extra just for staying local, Rocky Mountain Music has equipment and lessons at extremely reasonable prices with a knowledgeable staff to guide you through no matter what your level of knowledge.
Great music store! If the owner, Bill doesn't have what you need in the store, he's sure to get it for you, usually within a couple days! Good selection of guitars, ukes, amps, drums, band instrument accessories, strings, etc, etc.....and there's a nice selection of hats to keep the Colorado sun off your face.
He does great guitar work and setups! Great prices for service and some used gear. The best music store in evergreen for sure. Nice guy, helpful, knowledgable, great guitar tech, and they have a decent selection of used and new gear. Worth a stop in!
Nice little record store in Evergreen! Was definitely not expecting as much variety as there was since it is in an instrument store. It is very clean and organized with fair pricing (didn’t see anything over $20).
Lessons at Alpine Music Exchange
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Alpine Music Exchange. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
