Robert is THE man. No nonsense, no hard sells and no Tom foolery. There's no sign on the door because he doesn't need one. He works with a LOT of music industry pros but also the regular guy or gal who has a garage band or just loves playing guitar. His honesty is refreshing and I learned a thing or too.
It's hard to find a real pro these days. I mean someone who knows what they are doing and who has integrity....someone you can trust. That's is why I am so grateful that I discovered The Amphole. My Fender Twin Reverb recently developed some serious issues, and I was at a loss as to where to take it for repairs.
People generally only leave reviews when they’re unhappy, but that isn’t the case here. I trust Robert at Amphole implicitly with my tube amps. He basically rebuilt our 1970’s curved line Ampeg SVT head. The prices were more than fair, and the turnaround time was awesome.
Lucky enough to find a Silvertone 1457 amp chassis from Amphole serviced and for an excellent price, crammed that into my 1448 case added 2 63’ Jensen Alnicos and now the “Silvertone Twin Six” exists. A thousand times thank you wish I could post a video the amp sounds amazing.
