I brought my custom Jerry Garcia tribute guitar to Tim for some upgrades. I wanted to add an internal midi pick up and control system with a 13 pin mini jack as well as a couple of buttons on the front of the guitar to control the foot pedal. I also wanted an acrylic badge attached to the face just below the tailpiece.
After a truly disastrous attempt at a pickup installation at the hands of Labrat Guitar Workshop (Also in Apex) that resulted in direct damage to my Les Paul Custom, I took my guitar to AGR hoping he could get the job done.
I honestly can't say enough positive things about Tim at Apex Guitar Rescue. I brought my daughter's guitar in with a dead pickup and a switch that seemed wired backwards. Told him I knew very little about guitars.
Just got my guitar back from Tim today and I am so happy. I took it home and played it for 3 straight hours. He put in a new nut, some locking tuners and did a setup on my ESP 256 Les Paul clone. After 4 years of owning the guitar and upgrading along the way, Tim got this guitar over the finish line.
