This place rules and is a wonderful acoustic shop. I drive 30 miles to go every time and it's worth it. One of the best mandolin selections right outside the DMV. And they are a certified Taylor warranty repair shop - they took care of everything for me. It was all transparent.
Experienced music shop with a great team! I’ve always been skeptical of buying guitars online - especially older guitars, but I had a GREAT experience with Tim and the Appalachian Bluegrass team. I recently purchased a 38 year old Taylor guitar online from Appalachian Bluegrass.
Great local resource for guitars and other stringed instruments. I had such a positive experience. Tim and Bill were patient, extremely knowledgeable and helped me make a great decision on a new guitar. Cannot say enough about these guys! My fingers are about to fall off playing my new guitar!!!
I am very satisfied with Appalachian Bluegrass. I bought a longneck Bacon Belmont banjo from them and I noticed after playing it a few days that the strings were slipping off the fingerboard. I called them saying I would reluctantly need to return the banjo, as it wasn't playing right and was causing me bad habits.
