I had just punched through my bass drum head and needed a replacement. Rather than buying from a huge internet retailer or a Guitar Center, I wanted to see if I could find a drum shop nearby where I could make my purchase. I found Arizona Drum Shop after a quick survey and went there to check it out.
Can't say enough good things about Arizona Drum shop and the owner Ron. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, skilled. Took the time to help me dial in a vintage snare drum and then refused payment for his time, all the while teaching me a few things along the way.
I called Arizona Drum Shop to check pricing on a few add on drums for a used kit I was thinking about. After telling Ron about the kit I was building he mentioned that he had a brand new Sonor AQ2 in the color I originally wanted. He gave me a great deal on it.
This is the best drum shop I've found in the State of Arizona, and it will always be my first stop for equipment/advise. Ron is the owner of this well-stocked operation, and he takes pride in offering top notch one-on-one service.
