We purchased a used harp. Having it shipped to Canada and the change in humidity etc probably caused a few strings to break. Upon getting in touch with the folks at the Harp Center we found them to be extremely courteous and helpful. Going out of their way to make sure we were happy!
I really like the fact that they are by appointment only. They pull the harps that you are interested in and make sure they are tuned. You are allowed to play them & compare. They will even play them for you to listen and hear the differences. Friendly & knowledgeable staff.
I loved my harp that I rented from them. The six months of lessons that they organized and the beautiful harp on which to practice allowed me to fulfill my lifelong dream to play the harp. Grateful for that opportunity. Thank you, Atlanta Harp Center!
My love of harps started a few years ago, after moving to Atlanta. Of course, Atlanta Harp Center was the place I shopped because I knew they were professionals. My first harp was a Dusty Strings Crescendo. My second was a Camac Hermine.

First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
