I took my Eden WT500/800 (power was upgraded by David Nordschow to 800-watts) into Aviation Audio about 4-weeks ago. These guys are a bit more expensive than other techs in the Seattle area but I went to them because of their great reputation. That reputation was well earned.
Took a rare tube amp into more than one shop and it did not come back in good shape. I took it here to Aviator and it came back better than new! There is definite Artistry in the work done in the shop. I will never take my equipment to any place else again.
Brought Morris a triple rectifier that needed a ton of work and cleaning. Charged me about half of what I expected. Found creative workarounds for things he could have charged me for, called me several times, very patiently explaining the details, to let me make decisions on how to handle various things when he could…
Have been taking amps to Rick since 2005. He's done repairs for me and members of my band. He is a total pro, does quality work and will consult with you to suggest ideas based on what you need, what sound you're looking to get out of your amp, etc.
