Just wanted to say Thanks to Micah / Awelo drumming in Port Townsend for for the Beautiful New two toned Djalla Djembe from Mali It’s Awesome Also, for Tuning up my old Djembe made from Lenke , skin is nice and tight has never sounded so good.
I'm still blown away by the amazing work that Awelo Drumming did on my two busted djembes. They now sound better than they've ever had. And the service was excellent. Thank you Awelo for making my drums sing again!
Micah is an incredible drummer and skilled craftsman. We visited him on a Thursday and spent a few hours sharing skills and conversation. Dropped off two drums to re-skin, bought a new drum and some music books. We had a great time and highly recommend his services. Totally worth the drive.
