From the reviews
I highly recommend doing business with these guys! Order a Taylor 222 and it was just as described if not better! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Mason was especially helpful. Thank you Backwoods guitar!!
My earliest memories are of my mom playing her Tarrega classical guitar and singing me to sleep with the lullabies of Jimmy Rogers, Kitty Wells and Bob Dylan. Yes, my mom was a little strange. The Tarrega was distributed by Fender in the 60s. I was born in 1962, so that guitar and I are about the same age.
I recently had my fender telecaster repaired at backwoods guitar. It had some string buzzing due to high frets along the fretboard. The owner, Aaron said that yes he could repair it. I left it there and within a very short time I was contacted and said that the guitar was ready.
So. Me, being dumb, thought it would be cool to 3D print some guitar wall hangers. And they /were/ pretty cool. For about 15 months. Until one broke and dropped my Les Paul onto a bookshelf a foot below it. And from where it fell forward onto the floor.
Selling or trading gear at Backwoods Guitar
Backwoods Guitar comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
