Called Bills and took a spin over after going to guitar center most of my life. TOTALLY different experience. If you want an old school music shop with a down to earth dude who will give you the best price, answer your questions, and let you take your time picking something out, check this place out.
I was referred to Bill's Music by a friend and I'm so glad I went there. I was looking for an inexpensive acoustic guitar to learn to play and Bill gave me an awesome deal on a new one! This small store is packed and has quite the selection of guitars as well as other string instruments and tons of accessories.
My go to shop. Bill is THE GUY on the north shore (MA in general IMO). The guitars he has in his shop NEVER ceases to amaze me. I try to pop in at least once a week just to make sure I don't miss anything...and he also prices INSANELY fairly...
It was very cool. I'm glad places like this still exist. As a warning, there are not prices listed on the guitars that I saw, and it appears you are not supposed to help yourself to touching and playing the guitars. This is not a Guitar Center by any means.
