One of my fave bookstores of all time. Staff is really friendly and knowledgeable, the space is so quirky and has some wonderful gems on the shelves. The art for sale is original and great in any home - I stop every time I cross shelter island between ferries and treasure all the books I’ve bought from here!
So happy to have stumbled upon this by chance while haphazardly exploring Shelter Island as a day trip. They have the most interesting collection of signed and rare/vintage books — makes for excellent browsing…and excellent gifts:)

This has to be one of my favorites, if not my favorite book store I've ever been to.. I would have left this review after the first time I visited, when I didn't even realize there was an entire second floor..
