What's on the wall
“Also, while visiting, I got to see Gus's craftmanship on an acoustic guitar with a cracked neck- absolutely invisible after he got done working on it, and it sounded terrific too.”
“I went tot them to help me with a claim with my brand new Fender Strat and they got everything done so quickly and efficiently.”
“I’ve added two Les Paul’s and a Fender Bass, and I bring them all to Brown’s once a year whether they need it or not.”
“John is meticulous, cautious and has the quality standards a luthier must have to work on fine vintage instruments.”
“I thought it was a hopeless situation because the repair costs would out-weight the instrument's value, but they were able to get Fender to send a completely new bass at no charge!”

I would recommend Brown’s to anyone. I first went there just for a strap knob on my Gibson acoustic. That was 19 years ago. I’ve added two Les Paul’s and a Fender Bass, and I bring them all to Brown’s once a year whether they need it or not. And they’re so friendly I look forward to my next visit.
These guys are great, and a hidden gem in MN. I came in looking to get a precision setup on my Les Paul and that’s exactly what I got! They are an authorized repair shop for many of the big names and for good reasons too. I highly recommend for your guitar or bass needs, one of the best!
I am going to be a lifelong customer! I emailed last night asking about a re-string. I got an email back this morning right away with pricing and times I could come in today. I set up an appointment. When I got there; I realized the advantage in doing this type of business via an appointment.
