“And as with every Bull Moose, the used books bin is always offering a lovely selection!”
From the reviews
This is an interesting store that not only has new materials but every once in a while, you will find vintage media as well. There's a mix of vinyl, CDs, cassette tapes, video games, and more.
It was my 10 year old Son's first trip to a Bullmoose! The staff was very helpful in ordering a replacement book for us. He loved all the action figures, video games and small, fun objects from the "1900s"....We bought a few things along with ordering the book. We'll be back!
Nice staff, decent selection. There hasn't been much of what I've been looking for, manga in particular and of certain series. But it has plenty of cds, games, blu rays and DVDs so it's a nice place to go browse around in and see what's up and new when passing by.
The staff at Bull Moose are always very helpful and knowledgeable, seeking to help you find something in the shelf or online...a great store
Selling or trading gear at Bull Moose
Bull Moose comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
