Overall: Great selection of instruments of every sort, quality and quantity for such a small store. The owner is knowledgable and seems to enjoy a healthy conversation about all music related topics. Atmosphere: mildly lit with enough walking space for most people.
I bought my very first guitar here. I asked for their recommendations and they pointed out a handful of beginner guitars in varying price ranges and invited me to try out as many as I wanted. When I finally picked my guitar, they gave me a basic strap for free and helped me attach it and adjust it to my size.
I've been coming here for years. It's still one of my favorite music stores in town. They have the very best selection of authentic Asian instruments of all k. Especially Chinese! I wish they weren't as profit focused as they are. For example, it's reasonable to make a profit. That's what we do.
I've made a couple purchases here, and I've always been blown away by the diverse variety of instruments they have in stock and the knowledgable, friendly staff. If you're looking for an instrument not normally found in most popular western music shops, this place will probably have it.
