Chris is an asset in the luthier community. Brought my D28 in to have solid bridge pins fit and have the bridge slotted. He took the time to carefully ream the pin holes and fit the pins as well as they can be fit and actually showed me his process each step of the way.
I'm picky about who does the repairs on my guitars. I usually tackle a wide range of things on my own, so when I go to a luthier, I expect someone who can do a better job than I can - Chris is definitely that person. Hospitable, likeable, and totally in tine (no pun intended) with the needs of an guitar player.

Chris fixed up my Martin D-35 and she plays like butter with 13's. He is an excellent luthier and is a great host. He performed the set up while I watched, making sure my guitar played perfectly to my taste. I drove all the way down from Orange County and I couldn't be happier with his work.
