“If you need to find great prices this is the place to go!”
From the reviews
My Favorite Pawn Shop And I Drive from Edinburg Tx To Alamo Tx just to Pawn My Things They give me better prices than the one that’s close by me but Amanda is my Bestie there in Alamo but I also like all the staff bc they’re all good to me and my Teens and they understand us and don’t Judge us
All the staff was super nice. There was one girl who was super helpful but I don’t remember her name. She was short and wore glasses and short hair. I think she was the manger. She was super nice.
This store has improved so much! As soon as I walked in I was instantly greeted and within a few seconds I’m attended by a salesperson. Everyone had friendly faces and the young lady helping me took her time to answer a few questions I had on the layaway process.
They’re always so helpful and nice! Anita got to the point really fast and welcomed me as soon as I stepped in the store!
Selling or trading gear at Cash America Pawn
Cash America Pawn comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
