From the reviews
Been going to see Eddie for 30 years now he was the first place I went to the first day I arrived here. He's such an awesome humble person and somebody that I aspire to be like. He has tons of guitars, sheet music, vinyl and unique things that are hard to find.
I'm a young Australian travelling down the west coast. I bought an acoustic guitar up in Oregon so I could teach myself to play and a couple weeks later thought I had snapped my A string while in Morro Bay.
I visited this store with my daughter. Eddie went out of his way and made my band student so happy. He even lit up when he saw how happy she was. This store now has customers for life. And the store itself is amazing.
These guys are great. I sold some classic albums to Curt. He was honest and nice to deal with. The store is Awesome. Great posters, clothes, albums, guitars and a lot more. I look forward to going back to visit them again.
Lessons at Central Coast Music
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Central Coast Music. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments on hand for exactly this reason.
