Great place to pawn your valuables. They pay the most for gold in the area, straight forward and transparent with what they can offer. They also have a 20 day grace period instead of 10, so that helps if I'm in a pinch. And their staff & store are awesome 👌🏼 love the whole crew, super helpful.
I’ve been to Central Mega Pawn several times now and they are easily the best shop in Ontario. I’ve sold a variety of items here, including power tools, watches, and even an old Gameboy, and I’ve always walked away feeling like I got a fair deal.
Completely amazed by the customer service and professionalism I have received at this establishment. Lisa helped me through the entire transaction and has been nothing but a saint highly recommend and look forward to doing business with in the future. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Selling or trading gear at Central Mega Pawn
Central Mega Pawn comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
