From the reviews
To those wanting physical media, (Vinyl, CDs, cassettes, DVDs, Blu Ray) Cheapo is the place to go. This location has a reputation for having one of the areas largest metal collection of music. Store is organized by genre and then alphabetically within the genre to make finding something in particular easy.
I absolutely love Cheapo, such a great place to explore a quite vast selection of music in any format you would want- they also have a decent selection of merch!
Cheapo Records in Blaine is great to deal with! They have a wonderful selection of vinyl records and cds, both used and new. In regard to their vinyl records, they are normally spot on with their grading. If f anything, they seem to grade a touch lower than what it sounds like to me.
Wow. How have I not been here before? Great selection of new and used records and CDs. I also saw some DVDs and Blu-ray there as well concentrating on music films and documentaries. I picked up 3 records and 2 hard-to-find CDs. Also saw posters, pins, shirts, and mugs.
Selling or trading gear at Cheapo Records
Cheapo Records comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
