Clay’s Guitar Shop is hands down the best! Clay is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and passionate about his craft. I recently brought my guitar in for a setup, and it came back sounding and playing better than ever.
I have known Clay for many years. He is fair and honest. I have bought a couple of guitars from him and had work done on another. Great work and very fair prices. Knows his stuff. He is a good friend and a great guy to hang around his shop with. If you are looking for high end or starter guitars he is the man to see.
dont go for a guitar anywhere else. ive done the craigslist and facebook and what not. the big difference is that clay is a luthier. he sets up his guitars to get everything out of them that they can offer. and his prices are great. its clear that he loves the art and wants you to grow your love for it as well.
Clay sold me my first ever Martin over 6 years ago and I still use it as my main gigging guitar today! He has also done multiple setups, pickup installations , and misc repairs over the years on my Martin as well as several other guitars. Always professional work, reasonable pricing, and great turnaround times.
