Scott's a good guy and fairly priced. Willing to deal in trades so the customer walks out happy. Tons of used gear. Never had a problem letting me try out anything in the place. Bought my Gibson guitar from him in 1995, and gave me the case for free.
Hey these guys rock. I've bought gear here and been treated like a rock-star for spending a few hundred bucks, whereas at most of the mega-dirt bag stores they don't even look at you unless you've got a thousand dollar axe in your hand. Always willing to deal, and always willing to talk.
COMPETITION MUSIC is just the coolest musician shop with lots to see. The kitty cat who is the resident mouser, is so sweet. Scott D. the owner is knowledgeable, friendly, fair and interesting to chat with.
Took a while to find the shop, but was impressed by their selection of everything music. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great place to shop and enjoy music.
