Barry conducted a Taylor-authorized ES2 update to a 2003 410CE with the original ES1. Additionally, he did a truss rod and neck angle adjustment as part of a setup. Lastly, given our driving distance, Barry blocked off most of a day just for my appointment so I could return the same day with the work complete.
I've been so happy with the work Barry does. Not only that, but I've also really enjoyed spending time in his shop and chatting while he works. When I've visited, he has had some very high-end guitars in his queue, but he has never made me feel less worthy or spent less time or care on my cheap travel Martin.
Barry is great. Nothing but awesome reviews. My first time meeting him and he made me very comfortable dropping off my guitar. He is knowledgeable and friendly. Will update once repairs are completed. Edit: Repairs to the guitar came out really great and the setup was perfect.
Absolutely amazing work and an unbelievably quick turn around time! I had a brand new Taylor 712ce that had a strange bit of wood glue embedded near the 3rd fret. Since Barry is a gold class repairman for Taylor, I knew he would be the right person to go to to fix the issue.
