Hard to find, but worth the effort! The store is actually located inside of the Mobil Express Lube building, across from Dollar General on Mechem Drive. The owner, Jesse, is very friendly and welcoming. There aren't a whole lot of instruments, but what he has is of good quality.
Awesome place! Went in for drum sticks and left with a kitten! The only place in ruidoso where you can get an oil change, guitar and a cat in one place. But in all seriousness the owner was super nice and they had what I needed. He said he was good at guitar repairs so I’ll keep that in mind for the future.
Jesse, the owner of Cool Pines Music, was very nice and gave an estimate upfront of what it would cost to repair my guitar. When I picked it up, it was not only repaired, but and cleaned and polished as well. The store has a small but nice variety of instruments. Some are high-end; so are a few of the amplifiers.
The dude who runs this place is really cool he knows what hes doing. There is a large variety of instruments, suprising for a little shop! They have classical guitars, basses, acoustic guitars, ukeleles, mandalins, violins, and much more. He's willing to order items for you! Nice place to jam.
