From the reviews
I couldn't speak too highly of my experience here. The owners were incredibly nice and knowledgeable and took more care with my instrument than I ever expected. When my guitar was repaired the price was so reasonable I bought products to try and compensate them more than they wanted.
Counter Point has so much to offer the music community. Kip and his wife are so nice and accommodating to their customers. Their store prices are competitive to online stores and they also teach music lessons in store! This place is great!
Instrument repair, supplies, and strings, they have it all. Sure, you could drive to the city, or order online, but these people are your neighbors. Support local businesses and I guarantee you'll see a difference in your community.
Owners are super-nice! They have a small selection of nice instruments and can order different ones. They have cajons, yukes, banjos, guitars, and basses, to name a few.
Lessons at Counter Point Music
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Counter Point Music. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
