I am an adult beginner learning to play cello and outgrew my cheap one. At my instructor's recommendation, I came to Dallas Strings to rent a better one until I could save up to buy new.
We have rented (and purchased) instruments for years from Dallas Strings. Every interaction has been excellent. The staff are patient, friendly, and helpful. They have gone out of their way to make repairs convenient (we live 45 minutes away). When we purchased a violin, there was no pressure to go beyond our budget.
Absolutely love this place! I’ve rented 2 instruments for my boys in Plano schools (viola and violin) for 3+ years each. They deliver them to the school, and their rental contract is very fair when it comes to repairs etc. The few times I’ve gone to their location, they are super cool and accommodating.
We are highly satisfied with the quality of product and service at Dallas Strings. My son was able to try out different cellos in search for his perfect upgrade. We had privacy, we were not rushed and found the perfect cello for my son within our price range.
