I went to get my two acoustic guitars setup, as I felt they were not quite right. I called Dave and he invited me right over, midday on a Saturday. I arrived and let me tell you, it was not what I expected. Dave invited me into his shop and immediately I could tell his passion and wit.
Hello Everyone. Just wanted to post a quick review about Dave @ Dave’s Guitar and Amp repair. First of all, He is extremely knowledgeable about all types and brands of guitar, and how best to repair in the RIGHT way. He is inexpensive and you will receive a great value with his service work.
Dave did a setup on my American Strat. What was unplayable mess turned out a warm and beautiful guitar with that perfect Strat tone. While I was there, I met a pleasant young man with a broken 5150 (bad motherboard).
Dave was wonderful and you could tell he is really passionate about instrument repairs. Had the plastic nut on my guitar replaced with a bone nut, a fret leveled, the 5-way pick up selector on my strat replaced as well as a complete setup.The job was done very well and for a very good price.
