Mark is just absolutely awesome. I brought the head from my really old, really used 60W Crate amp in, because I thought the power switch had lost the solder connection to the board. Mark took one look at it, and knew that it was a bad switch, not the solder points.
Mark and I had a few back-and-forths with an amp I bought, with some undisclosed issues from the original seller. Took us a few days but he was extraordinarily throrough in his work. The amp works beautifully, and I could not be happier.
Mark has helped my son repair two of his guitars. With the first guitar, Mark was able to pinpoint the problem by just playing the strings. The second one, he attempted to take out the stuck tremolo bar, but to no avail.
Mark has repaired three of my amps in the last three years, most recently a mid 60s blackface Fender Bassman head . He's extremely knowledgeable and capable and a really good guy too. I feel lucky to have found a great amp tech in the Valley after moving here from LA a few years ago.
