I had a pickup that I bought a year ago. It was a discontinued model. I finally installed it inanew guitar. There was an open in the pickup...it didn’t work. I contacted the dealer on EBay. He, inturn, contacted DiMarzio who offered to rewind the pickup.
Great place to order Guitar Parts, one of the best I've seen and I've seen a great deal of guitar part shops. It makes me think about Woodstock, and famous musicians like Jimmy Hendrix, and Ritchie P. Havens God bless their musical souls.
