My 5 year old daughter started taking violin lessons here with Hannah Kalisch. I just wanted to say how INCREDIBLE of an instructor she is. If I could give 10 stars I would! She is dedicated to truly teaching your child to love music and she is so wonderful with kids!!
We moved to New Prague a year ago and Downtown Sound has been such a wonderful surprise. I have been taking violin lessons for almost a year with my incredible teacher Hannah and I purchased my violin from Jim who has helped me with all of the accessories, books, and instrument servicing I've needed so far.
Incredible music store in a small town. Amps, guitars (limited brands) accessories, wiring, effects. Fun store. Most important, Jim Reeder, the owner and musicman extrodinaire! There to assist and guide you for a wonderful shopping experience. Nice that he looks like lead man for "Alabama"!
Jim at Downtown sound graciously helped me out this past week by allowing me to use his personal equipment for a fund raiser. He helped me balance out my guitar amplification and offered me anything that I needed to provide some entertainment at the Depot. Thank you!!!
