What's on the wall
“Two sweet Danelectros sitting on stands and a couple of amps that were what I was looking for in my quest to "electrify" my guitar-playing.”
“His prices are fair and reasonable, and he does repairs and maintenance as well as sales.”
“What I especially liked was Tom saying to me that he had a lesson but to "take my time" and play the guitar through the amp.”
“Just bought my first mandolin to learn on, the price was so reasonable compared to the other couple places I called!”
From the reviews
Left a store an hour away that I thought I'd be buying a guitar from (their website showed a host of guitar I was interested in). Instead, after being totally ignored as a customer, I walked out and headed south. I knew about Dube's because I'd driven by the store.
I love going to Dube’s Music to shop and to take guitar lessons. Tom is the nicest guy one could ever hope to meet. He knows all about every family of instruments. His prices are fair and reasonable, and he does repairs and maintenance as well as sales. And lessons!
I visited for a possible trade on my guitar. The deal was fair but decided to keep my guitar. Nate, the employee there that day was very friendly, helpful and understanding of my decision. No pressure, nice selection and great service.
Had my first experience there today and I won’t be going anywhere else! He recently moved his business so he didn’t have the strings I needed in stock, but he broke open two packs to make the one I needed! Thanks Tom!
Lessons at Dube's Music
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Dube's Music. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
