From the reviews
I went to the store with a guitar the fellow said they fix all band instruments and all orchestra instruments but they sent me down the block about a mile and a half to have a guitar fixed at Joe's music instead.
Super friendly and helpful old school music shop. He fixed the mouth piece for my son's trombone in 10 minutes. This place is definitely for band and orchestra instruments. I didn't see any guitars or amplifiers. I did see some sweet violins though .
Friendly, knowledgeable workers, and fast turnaround on instrument repairs. I've been coming here for years for my daughters' band instrument needs. Every experience has been great.
I went here with an old music instrument, trying to get some info and hoping to get an appraisal on it. The man working in the back was more than happy to help! Answered my questions and gave me plenty of info. Very nice staff!
Lessons at Eastside Music
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Eastside Music. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
