David and his team over at Equilibrium are some of the most polite and professional individuals I have ever met. I left my Fender Mustang at his shop to have an intonation adjustment, its pick ups evaluated and have it restrung.
I went in to get a standard setup on an Epiphone that I've never taken to get maintained before. Ryan was super nice in not only seeing me when I didn't call ahead but also in explaining his services. I'm not the best versed in guitar maintenance and at no point did Ryan make me feel uncomfortable about that.
I've fallen in love with this guitar all over again. When the poor thing arrived at Ryan's shop she had no music coming from the neck pickup, just a buzz. The pickguard was a mess from my botched repair, trim falling off, and the frets nearest the pickup were all rust since they were nearest the humidifier.
Long time customer of Equilibrium. In short- phenomenal work, fast turnaround, very fairly priced, and personal attention given to the customer each time. Boston has a lot musicians, he's seen it all and there isn't anything he can't fix. I've had pickup replacements, nut installs, and standard setups.
