Exploring Music

Besides the friendly people and good supplies of music books, I strongly recommend Yamaha music programs at this location. I am sharing specifically my experiences with the children piano lesson my 6-year-old son is taking, and the adult entry-level lesson I later signed up with, both taught by Teacher Sue.

I signed up my son for the group piano lesson when we started SIP early this year. Since my son never took any piano lessons before, teacher Sue offered us a trial lesson and made sure he was able to catch up with the group. Teacher Sue was very patient and her lesson was a lot of fun, so I decided to sign up for Ms.

Bought a Groupon and loved the class! I had taken guitar lessons previously from someone else and they didn’t stick due to the lack of practice. Thought I’d start with the piano lessons here first and then switch over to guitar afterwards.

Both of my kids attend Yamaha’s group music classes, and it’s been a joy to watch them grow musically together. The class teaches more than just how to play—it builds musicality, teamwork, and listening skills. The teacher manages the group dynamic so well and keeps all the kids engaged.
