wonderful store manger (Patrick helped me not sure if he is the manager though). Got a new cello and he replaced the strings, fixed a couple of things and gave me an advice on what bow to buy. Very kind and helpful person. Of course reasonable prices and fast service. I am excited to go back and get more supplies.
I have been "renting to own" a cello from this store since the fifth grade, and they have always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable, beginning with offering me one of the most sturdy while unusually high quality cellos for the price, realizing I was a student and would have to tote the thing in a minivan.
My clarinet lost a spring a week before I was to play for a wedding and I stopped in to Family Music Center to let them know I was in a bit of a pinch for time. I also didn't want any unnecessary work done prior to playing out in the heat.
Visit was for to get a violin repaired. Staff is extremely helpful in suggesting what is needed. Our music teacher had recommended that we ask for John Hawkins as he is an expert with violins. He is there once in two weeks.I waited as my violin didn’t have a major repair.
