I called Family Music Center in North Las Vegas to find out how much to restring a guitar. I was quoted the price plus the cost of strings, and told that if it wasn't busy it could be done while I waited. I went right over and James greeted me warmly. He was able to ascertain which brand and type of string was needed.
Very knowledgeable and professional men work here. They definitely know what they're doing with guitars and violins (the instruments I've brought to them for upgrades and repairs). Just don't expect them to be overly friendly; they're not there for the "customer service experience".
