I popped into Folklore while in town for a short weekend. I've been teaching myself guitar for roughly 9 months now and was hoping to buy my first pedal. The gentlemen at the store was kind and quite helpful with offering suggestions and answering questions.
What a wonderful place. Extremely laid back. Great selection of the necessities, cool gadgets, fun stuff and a very very cool selection of new and used equipment, guitars etc. You never know what you’ll see hanging on the wall. Justin and his crew are ridiculously helpful and friendly.
I recently used FME to sell a guitar on consignment. This is my third occasion to deal with them, and I cannot stress how easy it is to work with Justin (the owner). He is the friendliest guy in the world, and you always feel like you’re dealing with an honest businessman.
I bought a sweet old acoustic from there a few weeks ago and it's one of the best guitars I've ever played. Anyways the guy was very polite and helpful. And I just today bought a set of strings and went to put them on and the tip of a tuning broke off.
