From the reviews

Frank is awesome! The store, though small, has a great amount of items to offer. Often he can help locate items. He is trustworthy and gives honest advice. I think he looks out for fellow musicians rather than other places which are more concerned about selling a product for the highest profit but know it might not…

Frank is a Super Guy. He has a Wonderful display of real unique Guitars for sale. A nice collection of albums. Frank also has some pictures of his life's travels. Floyd Tucker gives Giutar lesson here as well very reasonable price. Floyd is a Wonderful instructor , he is very patient and doesn't rush his students.

★★★★★ — Carol, Feb 2018

A small town guitar shop with some cool guitars and locals with fun stories. Pictures on the wall document Frank's history, encounters and friendships with other famous musicians, and stories to be told. Swing by, pull a guitar off the wall, and pick or strum til the lights go down.

★★★★☆ — Erich, Nov 2017

Affordable new guitars, and a good (and frequently changing) used selection. Frank is hands down the most knowledgeable guitar guy out there, and he's all-the-way honest. You won't always find what you were looking for, but you'll be surprised how often you'll find what you need.

Lessons at Frank's Guitars

Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Frank's Guitars. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments on hand for exactly this reason.
