Smaller local place. Some guitars are lower priced than your guitar center. They tend to have higher end stuff compared to Guitar Center. But they also have slightly better than basic stuff for beginners.These guys have a way more impressive pick selection. I still have my first guitar from here.
Excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff and cost effective recommendations make this a must for all things guitar. I was recommended by a seasoned guitarist that has been living in the area for some time.
My experience in ordering a custom Tom Anderson guitar was facilitated through Don Frank, the store's manager. It was a seamless and enjoyable experience and Don kept in contact, when necessary, and offered advice that only served to make the end result exceed my expectations.
Kudos to the independent music store that has endured the test of time... probably due to their friendly, no pressure staff. Would have liked to see more guitars and basses not mass manufactured by Fender and Gibson and Rickenbacker. Gelb has some vintage and few boutique guitars by Anderson and Suhr...
