Gene Liberty is nothing less than a great luthier! I met Gene 26 years ago when he worked on my American Stratocaster and he has been my number (1) luthier since... Gene is an honest and humble man, who could easily charge up to (3) times more for the quality work he does.
I could go on and on about the level of talent Gene has as a luthier. I will forever take my guitars to him, because you know that he will always provide the best service you can possibly get. He is absolutely world-class.
I've had the pleasure of having Gene Liberty do work on two of my guitars and they were easily the most pleasurable experiences I've had when it came to getting work done.
The first guitar I brought to Gene was to repair a broken neck. That was over 25 yrs ago. Since then he has custom built four guitars for me ranging from solid body to Jazz Archtop. Everyone of them play great and sound exceptional.They look even better!
