I’ve gotten several guitars set up and worked on by Kyle, none more important than my first guitar. I had written my first 150 or so songs on and for about a decade it was virtually unplayable. I had taken it to various people prior that said it wasn’t worth it to be fixed or couldn’t be fixed.
Kyle did an excellent job repairing the bindings on my guitar after they had been incorrectly glued by another shop. From the start, he took the time to walk me through the issues and kept me updated throughout the entire process.
I recently acquired a VOX VBW 2000 bass, a 2007 reissue of the 60s classic (rare). It arrived from Japan in pristine condition but with such bad buzzing in the strings that it was virtually unplayable. Took it to two guys who couldn’t fix it. Then took it to Kyle who quickly diagnosed the issues and then fixed them.
Kyle just finished a good deal of work on my guitar and I could not be more pleased. Sealing cracks, neck adjustment, installing a new pickup system, and custom building plugs where needed. The work is beautiful. He clearly loves and respects each individual guitar he sees.
