What's on the wall
“Reasonably priced, especially the pre-owned stuff.”
“The staff was very kind in helping me locate some of these and they've even given me advice on my turntable setup and my maintenance of my records.”

From the reviews
Graywhale is the only local record store that has a large selection of new releases. There is Barnes and Noble, but they only really have two or three new albums that I'm not interested in. When I first entered the store, I wasn't expecting to find experimental music.
Fantastic selection of vinyl records and CDs. Cool store that's has a laid-back vibe. Very friendly staff.
Pretty good metal selection. Decent prices and friendly staff. Definitely worth the 180 mile trip
Awesome store. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the vibe is cool, and there is a massive selection of media to browse. They have everything from records to books, and also carry movies and video games. Definitely worth checking out!
Selling or trading gear at Graywhale Entertainment
Graywhale Entertainment comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
