I will say every once in a while, you find a gold mine in the world of music shops/repair work. Greg Boyd’s House of Fine Instruments is exactly that. First off the owner Greg is an incredibly kind person. You can tell he really loves his shop and is passionate about guitars.

Great place to find vintage and fine guitars. Friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable folks. Greg himself will help you find what you're looking for, and makes terrific recommendations if you know generally what you're looking for, but not the specific instrument needed for the purpose.
I struggled to adjust a Recording King banjo that I have. Greg's shop was recommended by a friend so I took advantage of a trip to Missoula and arranged with them to take a look at it. Greg was able to diagnose the issue and his luthier repaired a hidden defect.
