My husband and I live in Roswell NM. He wanted someone he could trust to install and rewire the input jack and the active pick-ups on his Warwick Corvette bass guitar. After reading the reviews, he called Kevin to see if he was interested in helping him out. He was very receptive.
Kevin at Grumpys Guitars is an awesome guitar tech. I called around looking for parts for my guitar, and everyone in town was just looking to upsell me on parts and not address my initial concern. I stopped in at Grumpys , was greeted respectfully, and my concerns were addressed without any upsales.
I’ve had Kevin work on various guitars and basses of mine over the years. As a professional musician you need someone reliable, fast, and affordable. I can tell that there is a lot of care given to his craft.
The service that Kevin offers is fantastic. Quick repair turnaround and the shop is full of wonderful toys. He also builds guitars and has them in the shop for sale. I was sold on the first visit. If you've never been, you should check it out. Shops like these are hard to find these days.
