What's on the wall
“Their main 'shtick' seems to be repairs and lessons but they do stock a decent selection of acoustics, mostly Yamaha and Eastman.”
“They carry a great selection of acoustics and electric guitars, banjos and ukuleles.”
“I dropped it off with Linda who gave me an idea of what the repair would be like, and John gave me a call that afternoon to give me the full details.”
“She also talked about some of the classes and other services their shop offers that were interesting and relevant to our brief chit-chatting about musical interests.”
“About a year ago, I brought in a 1968 Gibson Dove that I bought New in 1969 at the OSU Folk Music Center Store near campus.”

“Extremely friendly staff, 5 minutes from my work which is nice, and they did a great job on the guitar I had them work on.”

From the reviews
I had an Evertune bridge module replaced and full setup completed, including string change. The nut was recut, neck relief adjusted. John was recommended, as he personally repairs Evertune equipped guitars. I travelled from Pittsburgh and was totally satisfied with all services. A+++.
This place feels like one of those really cool candy stores you come across every so often and get so excited to go in and look around, but replace candy with guitars, banjos, and ukeleles!
Stopped in and purchased a new acoustic guitar, even though I was looking for something on the cheaper end Linda did an excellent job providing a high end experience; informing about the specifics of each model and took time to explain small version differences between similar models and expected life cycle of the…
Complete Beginner given excellent service and guidance. I found Guitar House Workshop online, stopped in yesterday and was greeted by John. He was gracious and helpful from jump.
Lessons at Guitar House Workshop
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Guitar House Workshop. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments on hand for exactly this reason.
