From the reviews
The nicest people work here! I brought in a guitar that had been sitting around for years as I want to start it up again. Rush tuned my guitar in no time and gave a great recommendation on how to service it fully for my next visit. Kevin gave me a tour of the establishment and told be about the lessons they offer.
My brother and I came here from Charlotte to select one of the handmade guitars they carry. Eric immediately came over and helped us choose the perfect one for my husband. He was extremely helpful the whole time. He helped us find a case, which fit like a glove, and even polished the guitar before we left.
Outstanding guitar shopping experience! I had an idea of what I wanted but as we all know as guitar players finding " the guitar " can be a process. Roger was super helpful at fulfilling my guitar needs. Roger asked great questions and put the perfect guitar in my hands.
I want to send a heart felt thank you to Roger and the staff at Guitar Wishes in Lincolnton, NC. I was the proud owner of a 1952 Les Paul original that my late father passed down to me. My son n I don’t play and it was gathering dust. So I decided to sell.
Lessons at Guitar Wishes
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Guitar Wishes. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments on hand for exactly this reason.
