What's on the wall
“They've got your strats and jazz basses, but also less common stuff like an airline resonator, and an RD Artist bass, hanging up right now.”

From the reviews
Really love this shop. As an intermediate player who is just starting my journey into exploring guitar gear, this shop and staff have been the least intimidating and most welcoming resource in Asheville.
I own a guitar store in the Nashville area and I like to visit other shops when I am out of town - Heyday is one of my favorite shops in the country. Unmatched selection of quirky vintage guitars.
This is just what you want in a local guitar shop--nice folks with a good eye for gear, eclectic selection, and reasonable prices considering the state of the used instrument market these days. Especially nice vintage amp section.
These guys are great! I had a fender Tonemaster Twin that got wet and wouldn’t turn on. Everywhere else I looked was going to charge me upwards of $300 to replace the “guts” since it’s all digital and hard to work on.
Selling or trading gear at Heyday Musical Instruments & Repair
Heyday Musical Instruments & Repair comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
