It's always rough when you take a shot at trusting someone new with your guitars, because they're like your kids. Sometimes, you roll the dice and it's an absolute WIN, because Highland Ranch Guitar Repair has taken amazing care of both my guitars, AND ME!
Jay has setup several of my guitars and I found that he is very knowledgeable and meticulous in what he does. I recently brought in a used guitar I purchased for his setup service. Jay informed me that the neck was twisted and recommended that I replace it.
Jay repaired an Epiphone Les Paul electric and my 1959 Gibson acoustic guitars. He repaired the input jack and set up the electric guitar beautifully. That guitar just screams now! On the acoustic guitar he mended a hole in the body, replaced some frets and added some bracing to the inside of the guitar.
